Role Overview & Responsibilities
Introduction
The client is a world-class engineering consultancy operating in the Defence, Government & National Security sectors. The client is looking for a Software Architect to develop architectures that meet client requirements for the software that will be delivered into them.
You will have worked in an agile environment and will mentor engineering teams across the business.
40% On-site / 60% Remote working patterns.

Key responsibilities
- Research and develop software solutions for clients.
- Develop the architecture that various software projects will be delivered into.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams.
- Deliver products through the TRL framework.
- Capture detailed requirements from clients and transcribe them to the engineering teams.
- Experience with multiple software languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, Javascript and C#.
Skills & experience
- Gathering detailed technical requirements from clients.
- Develop software architecture to meet client requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineering teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Experience developing with either Python, Java, C, C++ or similar software.
