Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Main Reception for Croydon University Hospital, and Purley War Memorial Hospital and our Community Services within the borough of Croydon. Main reception for Croydon University Hospital.The post holder will be a member of the Estates & Facilities Directorate working withino Switchboard operating a software telephony system (including bleeps)o Main reception as a concierge serviceo Providing Business Continuity/Emergency Planning Logists
To provide an informative and efficient first point of contact either by phone or face to face which ascertains the patient/visitor and staff requirements and then signposting/wayfinding them to the mostappropriate individual, team or department Supervision of volunteers and direction of the porter provision ensuring an efficient service is provided at all times. The post holder will work closely and liaise with other services and directorates to ensure maximum effectiveness, quality and patient experience. They will ensure that they are sensitive to patient'sneeds and ethnic requirements.
