The Coventry University Group offers a leading approach to teaching and learning in higher education. We aim to deliver student education, which is active, social, applied and inclusive.

Peoples Future Limited is a dedicated subsidiary within the Coventry University Group and is looking to appoint a full time Senior Teaching Fellow or Teaching Fellow in Biomedical Science for 1 year to contribute to the provision of high-quality teaching within the School of Life Sciences. The successful candidate will join our highly regarded and established team of academics, delivering on our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in our modern facilities at the main Coventry University campus.

Both Teaching Fellows and Senior Teaching Fellows will undertake teaching, and course co-ordination supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs and other core activities, and ensure that students have an effective learning experience. Teaching fellows will also be expected to lead modules. Senior Teaching Fellows may also be required to lead courses. The successful candidate will be appointed to the appropriate level role based on their skills and experience.

To be appointed you will need to share our passion for delivering a positive student experience that puts excellence in teaching and learning at the heart of everything we do and will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge in your area of specialisation. You will be expected to support the design and delivery of teaching that is engaging, innovative and responsive that achieves excellent student learning outcomes. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is desirable but not essential. Coventry University offers academic support and professional development support and provides the opportunity for staff without a recognised teaching qualification to undertake the PGCE.

Applicants should have a relevant Masters degree or a PhD in an appropriate subject. We would especially welcome your application if you are HCPC registered and have experience of working in a HCPC accredited biomedical science laboratory. Applications to job share are also welcomed.
