Role Overview & Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at Carew House, Bodmin on Friday 23rd June 2023. This will be a morning or afternoon to be confirmed.
Perran is an established 15 bed acute admission ward caring for anyone requiring inpatient care, providing wonderful opportunities and facilities for patients. We are striving for our unit to be innovative, creative and recovery focused. We are inspired by some of the best practice and emerging evidence base from around the country and are not afraid to trial new and original thinking for the benefit of our service users. We are looking for caring and creative individuals that are motivated by the opportunities and challenges of developing what we hope will be a gold standard unit.

Full and Part time available, both day and night shift working is required to fulfil this post.

To be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and may be required to teach other nursing and non-nursing staff.

- To provide designated named nurse responsibility for a number of patients.
- To provide leadership, supervision and support to junior staff both qualified and unqualified in the absence of the Clinical Team Leader and Unit Manager during the course of the normal shift pattern, and to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources available to deliver a high standard of quality care to service users.
