Graduate Geometry Engineer
Working for our high profile customer in the automotive industry.
Full Time
£25.00 per hour - Inside IR35 - Umbrella Rate
You will be based at the Engineering centre working within the Cooling Systems team which are part of the Powertrain System Engineering.
The department supports new vehicle programmes and current vehicle updates, the primary purpose of the group is to design, validate and release for production cooling systems and components.
Working for the dynamic Cooling Systems team, the prospective candidate will be responsible for completing CAD activities relating to conceptual package through to detail design.
In conjunction with the platform Lead Engineers for Cooling Systems the role will involve development of system package and component design detail to allow component release within the framework of the Product Creation and Development System.
Key responsibilities will include:
Develop component package and detailed 3D design to support quotation process. Develop CAD model to the standard required to support CAE analysis.
Develop detailed CAD designs for new cooling system components that meet package and functional targets, complying with design specifications and guidelines.
Complete 2D detailed drawings to support system/component release,
Skills Required:
Familiarity with vehicle installation requirements & powertrain functionality.
Good communication skills are essential to support a good working relationship with the Lead Engineers.

Excellent opportunity with immediate starts available.
