Role Overview & Responsibilities
Accounts Assistant (12month contract) | Maidstone – Hybrid | £25-30K
An international business requires an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 12 month contract basis. The companies’ offices are based in the Maidstone area and offer Hybrid working with up to 3 days working from home.
The main responsibilities include:-
· Accounts receivable duties
· Credit control
· Accounts payable duties
· Processing bank entries and reconciliation of bank accounts on a weekly and monthly basis
· Working closely with colleagues based in Belgium and France with travel to the businesses on occasions
· Administration of VAT, including the preparation of VAT Returns,
· Assisting with the production of Corporation Tax computations and Returns,
You will:-
· Have excellent Excel skills
· Have excellent communication skills
· The ability to work to strict deadlines.
· Be committed to a fixed term contract
· Available at short notice
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
