Event Coffee Barista (Full training for all successful applicants)

Cargo House is looking for friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team of baristas at Events across the UK. The candidate will be responsible for providing services to guests at events. This position will require excellent customer service and a passionate commitment towards Coffee.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, serve, and display beverages, including Coffee, espresso, tea, and other speciality drinks.
• Prepare, serve and display food. (Cakes, Toasties, Pastries)
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and properly maintained. Provide courteous and attentive customer service.
• Ensure that all supplies and ingredients are stocked and ready for use.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Follow all event protocols and guidelines.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications prefered:

• Previous experience in a food/drink service or similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of Coffee and espresso drinks. (Full training provided)
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

What to expect:

We travel to different locations in the UK, Shared accomodation payed for. This could be Camping on site at events, Hotels, Airbnb's. We will also pay for travel beyond a 40 minute distance / car sharing for certain events. Some events will require set up and pack down, will also have potential flexible work Monday to Friday at our everyday pitch when not at events. We also do Film shoots, Private events and more.
