Post Title: Trainee Obstetric Sonographer
Grade: 12 month training post as a band 5
Band 6 on qualification and successfully completing and fulfilling all the requirements of an ultrasound student
Band 7 on successful completion of 6 month preceptorship programme
Department: Ultrasound
Location: Bradford Royal Infirmary/St Luke's Hospital
Hours: 37.5 hours
This is a full time post 8:30 am - 4:30 / 9am -5pm, 5 days a week.
Start date 01/10/2023.
Exciting opportunity to train in the Bradford ultrasound team as an obstetric sonographer.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking individual, committed to patient care and providing a good quality service.
The ultrasound department is a busy, vibrant department undertaking over 30,000 ultrasound examinations per year.
This post requires you to work on the BRI site providing ultrasound as an important part of the antenatal care in the women's and newborn department, and urgent early pregnancy care in the main building at BRI.
