Casual Minute Clerk
Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Governance Services Team are looking to appoint Minute Clerks to become part of a casual register of Clerks. This is a wonderful opportunity for appropriately skilled persons to expand their skills and supplement their income, working around their employment and family commitments.
Minute Clerks are required to attend school governing and trust board meetings on a flexible ad-hoc basis, where they will take notes and then prepare good quality minutes, with information presented clearly and assertively. You will also provide support on procedure to aid the smooth functioning of the meeting.
Payment will include up to 1.5 hours preparation time, plus the time spent in the meeting and up to 3 hours to complete the minutes. Meetings take place at various times throughout the day and evening and last for approximately 2 hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 0-7 per week
Salary: From £11.46 per hour
