Talented Junior Stylists

Due to an increase in business we are looking to recruit talented Junior Hair Stylists to join the team.

We are truly passionate about what we do and are looking for someone who has a good attitude, a passion for hair, dedication and ambition.

Ideally you will be NVQ qualified and have some experience with both ladies and gents’ hair. As a minimum, you must be able to cut, tint and blow dry ladies’ hair. Knowledge of highlights would also be looked upon favourably.

As a Junior Hair Stylist at Baykar London the you will be expected to (list not exhaustive):

• Have a minimum of 6 months salon experience
• Be able to shampoo effectively
• Assist other stylists when necessary
• Be well presented and able to communicate effectively with clients
• Greet all clients and ensure they are shown to their seat or waiting area promptly and ask if they would like any refreshments
• Make sure the salon is always well presented, including sweeping the floor, tidying work stations etc.
• Carry out hair services and build your own client base
• Have a creative approach and always be willing to learn new techniques
• Be able to position and sell retail products
• Cross promote the other services we offer in the salon

We have no airs and graces at Baykar London, and we all pitch in to do whatever is necessary to ensure 100% client satisfaction and continued growth of the business. This will mean real opportunities as we look to open further salons.

We offer an uncapped commission scheme on top of your basic salary so earning potential is up to you.

Experience:

• Junior Stylist: 1 year (required)
• Hairdressing: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (preferred)
