Role Overview & Responsibilities
Barnet CAMHS prides itself in working from a multi-disciplinary approach, informed and embedded within the iThrive Framework. There is a strong focus on further developing clinicians skillset and learning from each other. We offer high-quality individual and group supervision, as well as space for reflective practice. There are many CPD opportunities within the team and across BEH; over the last year training has included EMDR, Narrative Exposure Therapy and ADOS training.
Barnet CAMHS includes a large, dynamic and innovative group of clinicians. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic CAMHS Practitioner (psychologist , psychotherapist, mental health nurse, social worker or systemic psychotherapist) with the appropriate professional qualification and experience to work in this well established and supportive multi-disciplinary Specialist CAMHS team. We are open to receiving applications from candidates who are currently completing their final year of training with relevant experience. In some instances this will mean that the post will be offered as a development post at band 6 with a view to progressing to a band 7 within one year subject to certain evidence of competencies. The development of innovative, creative, practice-based evidence is strongly encouraged.
