Band 6 -Swindon Early Intervention Team - Part time care co-ordinator

The role would involve the care co-ordination of a small number of Service Users. You will also be involved in assessments and delivering a range of interventions to both individuals and their families and to groups.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside many other clinicians including family workers, CBT therapists, consultant Psychiatrist and psychologists. The team are very psychologically minded and we regularly meet for team formulations. You will receive training in specialist Early Intervention assessments and outcome measures and be supported where possible to pursue other areas of interest you may have within this field. You will have the opportunity to attend Network days with other Early Intervention teams, both within the trust and the whole of the South West of England.

Driving is a must and your own transport is essential for this role as supporting clients to appointments is part of the work. The team does work flexibly in order to reach clients and carers so some working outside of office hours at times is to be expected. In return you will get to work as part of a small MDT team with a real team approach. There may be opportunities in the future to train in CBT and Family work (in line with the Waiting time standards introduced in EI). There will be opportunities to network and join in shared learning with other EI teams, both in AWP and in the South West.
