Junior Legal Secretary
Role Overview & Responsibilities
An established firm of solicitors is seeking a legal secretary.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing customer agreements, extracting relevant information and providing commercially pragmatic advice to the business on risks to help shape strategy
- Sign off on external collateral – letters, emails, notices.
- Assisting in the training of teams on key legal issues arising out of the strategic projects.
- Idea generation and solution implementation to improve ways of working and knowledge sharing.
- Contributing to transformational projects and process improvement, demonstrating ability to constructively challenge the status quo and improve existing processes.
Experience Needed
- Interest in working in a commercial in-house environment with the aptitude to quickly understand legal processes
- Good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Able to take ownership of projects and tasks and drive them to successful completion.
- Able to act under limited supervision when appropriate.
- Full Training will also be provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00 per year
