Role Overview & Responsibilities

Proactive handling of claims involving property damage and associated elements in a cost effective and efficient manner to closure within allocated authority levels and in agreement with the Transcare procedures guide/SLA’s.

This role is full time, permanent – 35 hours per week, working hours between 7.30am – 7pm. Fix working hours available. This role becomes partly hybrid after completed training in the office.

Responsibilities

Handling of incidents/claims in line with the Transcare Claims Procedures Guide/SLA and Current Case Law

Handling of incidents/claims up to an authority level of £5K in line with the Transcare Claims Procedures Guide/SLA and Current Case Law

Process of supplier invoices up to an authority level of £5K

Complete reviews aqs required

Attend all relevant training as required

Attend where required any meetings with UK Bus/UK Trains

Report accurate work returns

Support inputting of telephone reported incidents by own drivers

Handling all data including CCTV discs in accordance with company/departmental policy and Data Protection Act 1998

About you

Excellent organisation and communication skills.

Strong analytical skills

Strong attention to detail

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to work confidently with contacts across UK

Strong verbal, written (including drafting) and problem-solving skills; and

Ability to work to challenging timescales, when required
