Role Overview & Responsibilities
The role will be working in the process control department, primarily supporting the computer infrastructure for an industrial environment.
- Windows Domain and Active Directory support.
- Preparing servers and computers for use in an industrial environment. Includes configuring industrial software for use in SCADA / PLC environments.
- Applying Windows patches and other security updates, whilst working around manufacturing production requirements.
- Resolving issues with computers which have been deployed to systems in the factory.
- Cisco network administration.
- Microsoft SQL administration.
- Management of software backups.
- Keeping inventory records updated in SharePoint.
