Seasonal Worker - Picking, Packing plants
Role Overview & Responsibilities
This position is physically demanding with long working hours during the busy period, which is typically from March to August, but can run a bit longer depending on sales.
There are several roles on site, but we are typically select plants and pack them in boxes or trolleys ready for shipping. This person must be able to read and identify plants after given training.
We are based in Enfield, so if you travel by public transport, there's a bus stop at the end of the road and on-site parking.
You must have a good command of the English language to be able to understand instructions clearly.
Good timekeeping is essential. The working day Monday to Thursday is from 7am - 7pm (however if all jobs are done we will finish earlier but not before 4.30pm) and Friday being optional if you are happy to do other jobs other than packing plants, this can include weeding, cleaning areas and potting.
