HGV Class 2 Driver

As a Class 2 Driver for Altrad Generation, you will be responsible for providing the Company with professional driving services to meet the service demands of the business. Also, assist in loading and unloading vehicles when required ensuring that all loads conform to transport regulations and the loads are safely secured, and strapped and warning signs are displayed if appropriate. Additionally, carry out all relevant activities safely, whilst observing Company policies & procedures and current road transport legislation including all aspects of tachographs and EU regulations.

Job Role:

• 4 to 5 deliveries/collections per day
• Carry out all HGV duties as a responsible driver including daily vehicle and load checks, and Hiab loading/off loading.

Job Specifics

• Full time job - 42.5 hours a week
• Working hours 7.00 am to 4.30 weekdays plus opportunity for overtime.
• Immediate start available.

Ideal Candidate:

• A full valid class II driving license is essential
• Experience using a HIAB crane is advantageous, but not essential.
• Full CPC is essential
• Experience of multi drop journeys would be an advantage.
