We're looking for a Cashier to work in a busy and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has previous experience handling cash and enjoys working directly with customers. A successful candidate will enjoy greeting and interacting with our customers in person, as well as operating a cash register.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a cash register.
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Issue receipts.
• Protect the merchandise and the money in the cash register drawer.
• Verify that each transaction matches the receipt.
• Count out correct change and give it to customers
• Keep reports of transactions.

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Able to maintain a positive and professional attitude toward customers
• Minimum 2 years experience as a cashier.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £10.50 per hour
