General Farm Worker

We are looking for someone to join our excellent dairy team in a modern, well invested farm on a full time basis.

The Position:

To work within the team as a general farm worker. There will be a mix of yard work and possibility of field work as well as helping out the herd manager and herdsperson where necessary with cow care. The role could be broadly tailored to suit the right skilled candidate in their area of passion, either cow focussed or more land based work.

Basic machinery and property maintenance

Helping out on the various building projects on the go at any one time

Some mornings starting at 5am and working alternate weekends. The option of working 11 days on 3 days off if that was requested. We are a flexible operation. 48-50hrs/week.

Salary: £24-35k/pa dependent on skill level

The Farm:

550 cows in a modern setup with a new rotary parlour milking 2x a day. Recently invested in a Bobman ride on cubicle brush and bedder. Modern machinery and state of the art facilities making for a great, tidy work environment. Located just out of Cheltenham/Gloucester with great local amenities and schools.
